We’re looking for a junior engineering data analyst to gather, maintain and analyze engineering data in our Tallinn office. In this role, you’ll get a chance to work with our awesome managers and engineers. Your new adventure:

  • Work with software engineering and engineering operations-related data and topics
  • Help maintain and complement existing automated reports and dashboards to improve processes and monitor performance
  • Build and automate dashboards, KPIs and reporting decks for efficiency and transparency
  • Pre-process, gather and analyze data to find answers to business problems and questions
  • Support other analysts and related stakeholders with various ad-hoc projects, reporting and analytics requests
  • Contribute to data collection efforts and identify any missing or incomplete data
  • Increase engineering data accuracy by setting up automated error reports and suggesting enhancements to internal processes
  • Collaborate with the data warehouse team to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Advocate data-driven culture in the engineering organization and across the whole company

Does this sound like you?

  • You have a solid understanding of SQL and enjoy creating queries
  • You’re eager to learn and deep dive into areas such as statistics, software development and other technical or administrative aspects relevant to the job
  • Experience with BI tools and data visualization, preferably Tableau
  • Great attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, think logically and solve complex problems that might not always be well defined
  • A strong can-do attitude, great communication skills, openness to feedback and a goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate effectively within a team while also being capable of working independently to achieve results without daily supervision
  • Willingness to work in a rapidly evolving environment, change resilience
  • A passion for what you do
  • Fluency in English

It will be a plus if you have:

  • Experience with software engineering analytics or software development
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleaning and transformation tasks
  • Ability to give presentations to a larger audience about our work and findings
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
