“Disruptive innovation is achieved by entrepreneurs that have a vision, passion, and perseverance to make a difference. Today’s meeting at Pipedrive, together with entrepreneurs (Gjirafa, ICK, UCX), reinforces that people with the right mindset and a supportive ecosystem, such as the existing one in Estonia and as we have initiated in the Republic of Kosovo, are fundamental to success – not just for the sake of growth, but also for the direct impact it has on our society and the quality of life. This is why tech innovation and digital transformation are on top of my agenda,” said Mrs. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, President of the Republic of Kosovo.
“We are truly honored by the visit of the President of Kosovo at Pipedrive’s Tallinn office. Founded in 2010, Pipedrive was initially inspired by the success stories of other Estonian startups. For the past 11 years, it has been our mission to support SMBs in their endeavours to digitize their businesses and meet the company’s goals. As a result, we have grown together with our customers from a single tool to an intuitive, easy-to-use, yet powerful and beneficial multiproduct for sales and marketing teams. We hope that our success story inspires Kosovo’s IT sector in further digitization of the nation as well as the business sector,” said Sergei Anikin, Co-CEO & CTO, Pipedrive.
During the two-day visit, President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu met with Mrs. Kersti Kaljulaid, President of the Republic of Estonia; Mr. Jüri Ratas, President of the Estonian Parliament; Ms. Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia; and Mr. Siim Kallas, Chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament. In addition, Mrs. Osmani-Sadriu visited Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom, e-Estonia Briefing Centre, and Pipedrive. Sergei Anikin, Co-CEO and CTO of Pipedrive, welcomed the delegation at Pipedrive, introduced the company’s history and shared the learnings of the Estonian startup scene.
