Pipedrive’s long-term visionary and CTO Sergei Anikin named as one the Top 25 Software CTOs of 2022

Anikin believes that it is crucial to let technical and product leadership focus on the right things — technical legacy should never prevent teams from innovating.
Thanks to Anikin’s hands-on leadership, Pipedrive continued to deliver fast growth and excellent results during the COVID-19 pandemic by pivoting its product development priorities overnight to deliver sales and marketing professionals tools for working remotely. Today, Pipedrive is being used by nearly 100,000 teams globally. In addition to being a long-term CTO, Anikin has steered the wheel at Pipedrive as the co-CEO. Prior to making an impact at Pipedrive, Anikin worked at Skype for over seven years as a billing architect and team lead. His career began at Swedbank where he was the manager of the development team. This spring, Anikin will hand his role and the teams over to the company’s new CTO, Agur Jõgi.
