1. People remain optimistic and businesses are still investing

80% of sales and marketing professionals remained optimistic. Most businesses invested more in 2022 than in previous years.

2. Most companies grew, but fewer than in 2021

63% of companies experienced YoY growth in 2022, compared to 71% in 2021. Smaller businesses were least likely to grow.

3. Budget and workforce reductions have a clear impact

Employees experiencing budget cuts, layoffs and reduced benefits tended to be concerned about the future.

4. People are resilient but need support (and technology)

Most respondents remained positive but benefited from team support. Companies investing in tech tended to have more optimistic employees.
