About us
Pipedrive’s Tartu office opened in 2015 and is now home to one of our four engineering hubs, along with Tallinn, Prague and Lisbon. With 60+ employees representing more than 10 nationalities, we’re a tight-knit team with big ideas and even bigger energy.
While Pipedrive has grown into Estonia’s fifth unicorn, the culture in Tartu still carries the spirit of our early startup days – where creativity, humor and collaboration lead the way.
Sure, their jokes are hilarious, but don’t let that fool you: “Tartu delivers” is this office’s motto, for a reason. The winning teams at our hackathons often come from here and the quality of their work speaks for itself.

Our traditions
We like to keep things down to earth and fun. Whether that’s sharing self-organized lunches, competing in a bake-off, or cheering each other on during a Lightning Talk (where employees get to hone their presentation skills on a topic of their choice), there’s always something happening.
Each month, we come together for different activities – from sauna nights, board game battles and gaming tournaments to hiking, biking and even winter swimming. We’ve got a strong gaming culture, a love for the outdoors and a great sense of humor that ties it all together.
We also host our own version of Pipehikes, inspired by our team in Lisbon, and open the office doors to our little ones during PipeKids – an annual afternoon of creativity and play for employees’ families.
And at the end of the year, we join Pipedrivers around the world for our winter holiday celebration: an in-house award show full of recognition, fun sketches and community spirit, dubbed “The Pipeys”.

Where you’ll find us
Our Tartu office is located near the city center in the city’s first LEED Gold-certified office building – a modern, energy-efficient tower that reflects our commitment to a thoughtful work environment. We occupy two cozy, creative floors, giving us plenty of natural light and sweeping views of the Emajõgi river.
One is inspired by video games – yes, we game a lot – while the other is themed around Estonian birds. If you’re curious, yes, we really do enjoy pronouncing names like Ööbik and Tuttpütt.
We’ve created a welcoming space where everyone feels at home. Our slipper policy says it all. And with regular visits from our beloved office dogs (including Juuni, who even has her own Slack emojis), the vibe is friendly and relaxed.
Our office also features the highest gym in Tartu – on the 16th floor with amazing views – and the second-highest sauna in town, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. We hold weekly sauna nights and brave dips through our Winter Swimming Club.
Snacks? We’ve always got ice cream and kohuke! And when the Estonian weather cooperates, we take full advantage of the outdoors for team events.
We’re proud to work closely with local universities and schools, offering internships, guest lectures and office visits to support the next generation of talent. Our team also contributes to the broader engineering and product community through meetups, conferences and speaking engagements.

Working in Tartu
