Before using Smart Docs, owner and founder Stefan Blendulf was relying on over 10 different tools to automate their process and manage steps outside the CRM, including document management. They needed something that would not only be cost efficient but time efficient, as well.

That was the biggest challenge, to maintain a great workflow, because the more apps you have the more things you need to take into consideration, and you can set everything up with automation, but that’s also something that takes time and maintenance, so that was the big struggle, to have everything work great together and to really maintain a smooth workflow.

In addition, Smart Docs has enabled them to create a more professional appearance using custom document templates (such as sales order forms and pricing document templates) with simple editing tools. This feature has made it easy to automatically pull contact information from the custom fields they’ve created and assign each customer/prospect a unique number to make it easier to keep track of who received what and when.
