The school principal of Tallinn’s Old Town School for Adults starts a 5-month internship at Pipedrive to hone his leadership skills

New York, January 30, 2023 - Pipedrive, the global sales-first CRM and intelligent revenue management platform for small businesses, will participate in a unique educational initiative for school leaders for the fourth consecutive year. As part of the Education Leaders’ Internship Program, the school principal of Tallinn’s Old Town School for Adults, Robert Ossipov, starts a 5-month internship at Pipedrive to hone his leadership skills under the guidance of CTO Agur Jõgi and People & Culture Manager Ingrid Palm.

According to Robert Ossipov, the internship is a great opportunity to hone his leadership skills and derive new ideas and inspiration for his school. “I’m happy to start my internship at Pipedrive. Whether you are running a school or managing a private sector company, both can contribute to positive change in society. I’m keen on learning about cross-department collaboration and decision-making processes. I’m convinced that modern leadership culture has a place in school and the internship is a great opportunity to witness the daily practices of another organization with your own eyes,” said Robert Ossipov, the school principal of Tallinn’s Old Town School for Adults.

“My first impression of Pipedrive is really good. I have already met with my mentors and I’m very inspired by our first interaction. I’m thankful for being able to step out of my everyday role as the school principal and deep dive into the tech world. My goal is to learn new things as much as possible and to apply new useful practices to make school life even better,” continued Ossipov.

“Pipedrive has always been seeking ways to give back to the community. Contributing to leadership growth in the educational field is a great example of this, as education has a tremendous impact on our lives. It helps to develop problem-solving skills and logical thinking and enables one to turn potential weaknesses into opportunities. In school, people learn teamwork, and it is the first time when they see leadership skills up front. I’m glad that there are so many school leaders in Estonia who are keen on learning and developing their leadership skills by gaining experiences from businesses. I’m looking forward to collaborating with Robert and showing him Pipedrive culture and ways of work”, said Ingrid Palm, People & Culture Manager, Pipedrive.

The Education Leaders' Internship Program was initiated by the Good Deed Education Fund with Tallinn Education Department. The Good Deed Education Fund is a philanthropy fund established by new-generation technology entrepreneurs aimed at supporting initiatives that help solve the biggest challenges in Estonian education. During 2019-2021, the Fund supported 10-15 initiatives with a million euros, focusing on increasing the number of next-generation teachers, raising the quality of school management, reducing drop-out rates, and increasing the acquisition of natural and exact sciences skills combined with creativity and teamwork. The idea for the Education Fund came from Taavet Hinrikus from Wise and Martin Villig from Bolt. Pipedrive has been one of the largest supporters of the fund for several years now.
