The President of Estonia Alar Karis visits Pipedrive

New York, 30 June, 2022 - Today, the President of the Republic of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis visited Pipedrive’s Tallinn office. The main aim of the visit was to strengthen the relationship between Pipedrive and the Republic of Estonia, discuss the main challenges and benefits of the thriving tech ecosystem of the country, and introduce the innovative work environment of the company.

“In over a decade, the Estonian company Pipedrive has grown into an international tech company that helps sales professionals make their work more efficient around the world. In addition to growing its customer base rapidly, Pipedrive has become home to new offices across the globe. In 2020, the organization reached unicorn status as the fifth company ever to do so in Estonia. Pipedrive has created pleasant working conditions for its employees in Tallinn and puts thought into providing a creative environment and career opportunities for its employees. I hope that in the future Estonia will remain home to new startups born here and will provide all conditions needed for growing from startups to unicorns and that we would not lose our leading position,” commented Alar Karis, President of Estonia.

“We are truly honored by the visit of President Alar Karis to our premises at Pipedrive Tallinn. Founded in 2010, the success stories of other Estonian startups inspired the creation and growth of Pipedrive. We are lucky to have a vibrant and supportive startup ecosystem valued and cherished by the Republic of Estonia. Despite some challenges, the tight-knit collaboration, lack of bureaucracy and a variety of functional e-solutions have paved the way for many Estonian companies to succeed at home as well as globally. I am proud that the President of Estonia Alar Karis advocates for the continuous growth of the local tech scene,” said Agur Jõgi, CTO, Pipedrive.

In anticipation of soon reaching the 1000 employees milestone globally, the official visit ended with a joint photo with the President of Estonia Alar Karis and Pipedrive’s Tallinn employees.
